Art Week Des Moines 2019

The DMSC has been a CENTER for recreation, culture, education and entertainment for Central Iowa since December 2007 and home of River City Art and Music’s, Riverview Artist Salon, since February 2017. Enjoy an amazing line up of talented Iowans sharing their words, passions and works including Jon E. Duh-Moyne of Des Moines Poetry Slam, Chaden Halfhill of Silent Rivers Design+Build, Lindsey Keast and Jennie Knoebel with the Iowa Arts Council, Adam Winn of Red Door Press, Robert Moore, an exciting new visual artist, and Alyssa Leicht, Des Moines based, world-traveling music, tour, and portrait photographer.

The 1st Annual heART show during Art Week Des Moines 2019. This annual event will take place prior to the opening day of the Des Moines Art Festival. Come join this free public event of community collaborated visual + performing artists. This art installation is interactive and social including live solo visual + performing + emotional performances, collaborations, experiences. The event will close with a silent auction with partial benefits reserved for a Non-profit-charity donation. This event will be a zero waste conscious event in partnership with RecylceMeIowa and is organized by the hosting sponsor, Morezarte - Visual + Perfoming Arts Consulting. There will be more announcements on Wooly’s social media pages and the event will also include a cash bar with zero waste recycled products.This is a community event.
